World Architecture Festival Australian Cox Rayner Architects Winners

World Architecture Festival in Barcelona. The Transport category has been won by Australian practice Cox Rayner Architects for the the Helix Bridge in Singapore. The Helix Bridge was a “strong winner due to the uniqueness of its weaving of structure and form. An additional strong point of the structure is derived from its ability to curve in plan and section due to its helical form.”

Other Day 2 winners included Aedas (Hong Kong), AGi Architects (Spain), Perkins+Will (USA), Erginoglu&Calislar (Turkey), TOCA (Turkey), Suisman Urban Design (USA), Menis Arquitectos (Spain), Sanjay Puri Architects (India), Turenscape (China) and David Chipperfield Architects (UK) with b720 Arquitectos (Spain).
